About

Hello and Welcome!

My name is David Waltman and I love just about any kind of fishing. Living in Colorado, I am an avid fly fisherman. I've guided fly fishing in Utah and Georgia. My home waters are the Frying Pan River and the Roaring Fork River.

BUGGALOW

The idea for a cylindrical fly box has been in my head for years. Simply because I had never seen one before. Also, I always wondered why we fly fishermen (and women) hang every tool we can think of from our vests and packs except for our number one tool... our flies!? I wanted to design something that wasn't too big, can be worn comfortably, easy to open and held enough flies to satisfy the average fly fishermen. After many trials and errors the BUGGALOW was finally born!

RESPONSIBILTY

All BUGGALOWS are made in the USA. Why does that matter? Besides supporting domestic economy and real customer support, what is most important to me is waste and pollution. As you may know, this is not always the top concern for many foreign manufacturers. BUGGALOWs are made from PETG plastic which can be 100% recycled. All leftover material is mailed to a company called Printerior Designs. They turn PETG "waste" into reusable material. This keeps the plastic out of our water and soil which we can all agree is a good thing! Implementing practices that keep our planet healthy will always be top priority.
